Paul Hermanson, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Paul Hermanson grew up in Mason City, Iowa. He earned his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Dr. Paul served two years as a dentist in the U.S. Navy in Jacksonville, Florida, before returning to Iowa City to complete his orthodontic training. He founded Hermanson Orthodontics in Marshalltown in 1975 and, in addition to caring for his patients, he has enjoyed many years of service to numerous community and professional organizations. Dr. Paul served for ten years as an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Iowa. While you might find him checking in on operations from time to time, you are more likely to find him out fishing with his dog, Sophie, or playing his trumpet or accordion.
